Before the trip, you must:

• Have travel insurance and international health insurance*;

• be well informed about our programs;

• be in good physical condition;

• have appropriate clothes for cold weather and trekking shoes;

• inform your guide and/or the agency responsible for your itinerary about any allergies or any other condition(s) you may have.

During the trip

• It is prohibited to give away any item directly to the rural inhabitants during your trip. If desired, gifts can be given through the agency who will disseminate them to the local inhabitants in order to preserve their way of living.

• Show respect to the rural inhabitant(s) in every possible way.

• Do not leave garbage behind during your trip.

• Listen to the guide at all times for safety reasons.

• Pay attention to any riding tips in order to avoid any inconvenience during your ride.

* Although every precaution is made on your behalf, all travelers who do not have travel and/or health insurance must sign a form releasing the agency of any responsibility in case of injury or health problems during your trip.
